Funds raised

£339k

Telford & Wrekin Climate Action Investment was created to allow anyone to support Telford & Wrekin Council’s plans to create a carbon neutral borough. The council is already taking action on its own environmental impact – it has cut its carbon footprint by 58% since 2018, putting it on track to hit its target of becoming carbon neutral by 2030.

But its plans go far beyond that. It wants to ensure it supports everyone across the borough to take climate action, and this investment allowed the public to back a number of important local climate projects.
